Random Brags and other things.

*Parenting Tip #1. Don't try to teach your child to ride a bike. Running behind a child learning to ride a bike is pain inducing and fruitless.

*Savanna learned how to ride a bike!

*Despite all our many attempts and flailing after her last fall, she did not figure it out until she DECIDED to do it in one afternoon this Spring.

*YEAH SAVANNA! We are very proud of you.

*Emily is the smartest 8th grade math student in the state

*She doesn't like it when you say that, but what would you call it, when her school won the state math competition for small schools and she got the best score on her team.

*I thought so.

*We get free food out of it.

*YEAH!

*Good job Emily!

*Apparently Sierra is following in her footsteps. Her math teacher informed me that she is one the top students in all of his 55 in grade 4 math...she is in 3rd grade.

*YEAH SIERRA!

*Good job we are proud of you.

*Ethan is getting an attitude.

*YIKES!

*And just for the record I AM the boss of him. Despite his claims otherwise. Though just to be clear he is still in charge of his choices, just not his consequences.

*The last week of school is called Intensive week. The students get to go in-depth on one subject for the whole week.

*Tim gets to go on an overnight Rafting trip near Moab.

*FUN

*They won't let me come.

*The should let me come.

*Tim has to earn $125.00 to go.

*If you are interested to assist in the raising of the said money, he is selling Papa John's pizza coupons for $5.00 a sheet. You get a free small pizza with that.

*Hopefully he will find the coupons soon.

*Grr...Deep breaths.

* 6 days and counting...no one has missed the TV service yet.

*I love the weather.

*My goal is 2 loads of laundry per day.

*I feel that in my current mental state, that is lofty.

* I have been meeting my goal.

*YEAH ME!

* Mike can breathe. He is happy about that.

*Yeah Mike.

*I started a Facebook fan page for Ram Kitchen.

*I've been meaning to start a Ram Kitchen blog for years now.

*I've waited so long, the blog is no longer necessary.

*If you are not a fan and you want to be search for Ram Kitchen Supplies.

* No pressure.

*I went on my first training bike ride on Saturday.

*It was only 5 miles.

*Yes I was winded at the end.

*Yikes!

*I'm slightly obsessed with blossom pictures.

Wow, those are some smart kiddos! I like the blossom photos. Who isn't obsessed with blossoms in spring? What could be a better way to proclaim, "Hey, I'm still alive in here, don't chop me down!" than erupting with blossoms?

Yeah Savanna, Emily, and Sierra! Good luck Tim finding the coupons ;)

2 loads of laundry a day? yikes! that's a lot of dirty clothes.

Every year I enjoy seeing blossoms pop out, like I've never seen them before. This year it has inspired me to sing the "Popcorn popping" song to Amelia even though she can't see the blossoms yet.

Amanda--so right we planted a blue plum tree last spring and by late summer it looked dead but out it popped with blossoms this spring!

Sharon--7 people does = A LOT of laundry. 2 loads a day doesn't even get me to the sheets by Saturday.

Carmen--hey good to hear from you! I hope all is well in PA.

Emily: Good work, young lady! Smart girls rock.

Kat: I'm going to have to steal your line (You're in charge of your choices; I'm in charge of the consequences). The kids get home at 3:00. I should have an opportunity to say it by 3:02.

Mike: Please tell me you did not really have an interruption in breathing. Do explain, Kat.

Ethan: My guess is that you are going to give your mom a run for her money. Go easy on her, kid.
