Having people over for dinner (well to share dinner not to eat them) is FUN! Many ooh's and aah's over my nice set up abound. Never mind that they are never clean all at the same time...that would be too organized. Don't tell but I may have been single handedly keeping Dixie the paper plate company in business (never mind the dump.)

Cool . . . and especially because you got a bargain.
I'm not sure which is worse - plates that don't match, or dinnerware that gets so hot when you put it in the microwave, that you have to use a hot pad to carry it to the table - definitely not kid friendly. I suspect we'll be buying some Corelle ware of our own soon :)
I have those mugs in a different color and they are my all-time absolute favorites! They're actually fairly sturdy, don't chip too easily and the shape is perfect. I don't know why, but it just is. So, congratulations! Enjoy your matching dinnerware.

Brooke: Touche' However, the only dinnerware we sell is stoneware style and chips if you look at it wrong. Not exactly survivable at my house.
