I think good things happen to me. I know good things happen to me...but nope blank.
Sometimes my blog is like a good news minute.
Enjoy...the loveliness of knowing there is good somewhere but I don't remember Who, What, Where, When or Why.
(Really I just can't stand having that picture up front and center. :) )

That's funny - because the same thing happens to me . . . and I think the same thing when they ask for missionary moments. I've started to write things down when I remember, but then I feel stupid looking like I'm reading something ;)
The good news minute always made me uncomfortable. I am glad our ward doesn't do that anymore. It's weird.
I'm the same way - mind goes blank. Then when I would share something (hardly never), half the time I felt like I was bragging.
Our previous presidency stopped it for a while I guess, then started it again. When the new president was called (cough cough), she studied the handbook and RS resources online and saw no mention of it. She talked to two stake RS presidents about it, and both said the general RS isn't encouraging it anymore. Voila, we don't do it. The practice song isn't there either, so we've stopped that as well.
Good Call Marni...though as a teacher I did like the practice song.
Our RS gets plenty of discussion going anyway. There are a few that once you get them going, all you've got to do is keep it flowing.
I just liked the song as it gave me one more minute to collect my thoughts.
