Of the day...

Quote of the Day: "Inside these pants it's fuzzy" Ethan

Gratitude of the Day: I am thankful for Mike for getting up at 0 Dark Stupid to go to work every morning in the much less than freezing temps. Made all the more impressive by his extreme DISLIKE (hate really) of morning and winter. Grateful for his self titled new attitude of January.

Dumb thing of the Day: After getting after my kids for forgetting their instruments and having to drive to school ANOTHER time to deliver them, I left my purse in the school library. ~Touche'

Random Picture of the Day: Santa brought Bop-Balloons

Resolve of the Day: I resolve to use my goodreads account much more this year. Last year I read books, I know I did but I can't remember more than 2 or 3. LAME.

Book of the Day: Princess Academy by Shannon Hale

Political Musing of the Day: Rumors are that Ex-Utah Governor and now Diplomat to China may run for president. I would totally be on board. Mr. GQ didn't get my vote right off, but he won me over...though I would have liked to see him in action during the last few lean years.

Definition of the Day:

The Russians (the ones that lived at my house not the whole country) used loofas. They looked painful to me. And indeed in my mind Brutal Loofa cleansing is what it felt like to my soul last year.

Mike: I'm sorry you have to go to work at 0 Dark Stupid. That bites.

Lost purse: I hope your kids didn't get after you too much.

Princess Academy: Would I like it? (Be honest).

Huntsman: I'm with you on him. I thought he was just an entitled rich kid, but he won me over too.

Brutal Loofa Cleansing: Thanks for the def. Sigh. I know.

I have totally seen a loofa growing! There was this family on my mission that grew them to harvest and sell. And yes, they do look painful - though I have never used one myself.

Brenda I'll let you know on the book when I'm done...half way through and I'm not sure yet if it's a Brenda book or not.

I had no idea that loofas grew. I've only seen the generic or manufactured ones in stores - ya know the ones that are pink or white or purple and they sell with liquid soap to get all foamy in the shower? I always called those loofas - guess I was wrong.

Yes, it is 0 Dark Stupid when I have to go to work. No idea why people think that humans were meant to be awake at such a time. Particularly when the hour of the day is closer to the outside temperature.

Brutal Loofa cleansing of the soul? I think my roto-rooter job on my sinuses was less painful than what we had to go through last year. Let's just hope the saying is true that it only gets better from here on out.....
