I hate laundry mishaps!
oh no. i'm actually shocked we haven't had a crayon in the dryer episode over here yet. until then, we have crayon mishaps on walls, in the car, and everywhere else. heartbroken for you.

Been there, done that, but mine wasn't black on white. I made a bunch of phone calls to see what I could do. Can't remember what I tried, but do some googling before you count everything entirely lost. Google helped me the day I found bright green silly putty very very very stuck in the carpet.
at least you got a blogpost out of it...

Marni: I'm googling now. There are plenty of theories...I'll give them a try but I'm not too hopeful. On the plus side we have lots of 'working' clothes now.

I'm with Marni - there might be a solution. I've heard ironing it out works . . . sometimes. Maybe you've "googled" a solution?
Oh, that is sad...we have had gum mishaps, but not crayon...YIKES!!
