Anyone that has read my blog for more than once has seen my friend Brenda comment on here. She is a great friend. You know those friends that just 'get' you. You can talk about anything with and even if you disagree on an issue you come away enriched and uplifted. That's Brenda.
Brenda needs your prayers today. She is in the ICU with myocarditis. Basically, if I understand correctly, a virus has attacked her heart and the end result is similar to a heart attack.
Jana, if you know anything else, please let us know.

As of right now things are looking good. The doctors think she will make a full recovery, but it will take some time. If I hear anything else I will let you know.
prayers are with brenda for a full, speedy recovery. thank goodness medical technology these days is amazing.
Thanks for the update Kat and Jana. Definitely keeping Brenda in my prayers.
Endocarditis is really painful. Glad to hear things are going O.K., all things considered. I'll add my prayers for her.
Dave posted that Brenda is still in the icu. She is really weak. He said her heart rate is elevated and her blood pressure is fair.
I think they have been really worried about her blood pressure. Hopefully, it is better by now. Not sure.
What a blessing for Brenda to have so many friends and family that care so much for her. We are all thinking of her and praying our little hearts out!!
