Reminder...

It is better to take a short power nap (or a long one) than to waste an entire afternoon because you are too tired to think.

Okay I needed this. I'm surfing the net aimlessly because I'm too tired to do anything. Power nap it is!

Great reminder . . . does that work too when you're bored at work and have limited access to the internet :)

Brenda--happy snoozing.

Sharon--Yes it counts!

Now if I had only known before my power nap that I didn't have all my UPC codes I could have had my
'people' work on that while I slept. Bummer I still can't get anythind done.

That could be someone's facebook quote.

"It is better to take a short power nap (or a long one) then to waste an entire afternoon because you are too tired to think." -Kat

Jana- LOL At the end of the year I plan to print my blog as sort of a journal for the year. And I've been imagining what my great great grandchildren might think of me. I think they may think I was nuts. But I'm ok with that. :)

I agree...I notice you posted that at 1:15 PM. The afternoon hadn't really started...you must be tired! Hang in there! Love you! :)

than or then

Brain cramp so large that I've swtiched it but I it still doesn't look right. Marni? Brenda? Thou english majors...what's right?

It's "than". "Then" would be used as: "If I was not tired, then I would have been much happier."

"Than" is a conjunction.
"Then" is an adverb.

Just looking back through comments, and your daughter is correct. It's good to hear you've got a English expert in the making.

Your quote is something I'll need to keep in mind during the coming week. Jamie and Adam off to camp = Marni trying to get all kinds of projects done with their gone. I don't know why I'm not as useful when Jamie is here. :) But I always stay up too late and drag myself through the day. Power naps!

Too funny Marni, Mike was at scout camp and Emily at girls camp last week so I took the opportunity to send the other kids away and take on the huge project of repainting the kitchen. What IS wrong with us???
